We're finally equal | a miraculous story
20 parts Complete Based off of the short story Harrison Bergeron, in this AU the unexpected is the expected. Since no one can be perfect every one is the same. They have radios in one ear to make them dumber, weights on their arms to make them weaker, masks on their faces to make them uglier.
And Marinette can't stand it any longer. In this alternate miraculous universe, Marinette has scoliosis, a genetic deformity in the spine. It's what helps make her equal, though she still has to wear weights, and a hideous mask. All seems for lost until a new boy comes to school. He has the ugliest mask, and the largest weights, Marinette has ever seen. And a tiny radio in his ear to make him dumb.
And she falls head over heals for him.
Together, can they stop the government from their wrong doing? Will love force them to take off the masks? Is ballet going to make a change for their lives? Read to find out!
