However, the butler- Alfred Pennyworth- decided to help the father and his daughter. sending a private jet to Boston so it could pick both Y/n and her father up to bring them to gotham. While Y/n's father was getting treated in the hospital, Y/n went on a job hunt. She was allowed to stay in the manor of course but Y/n decided it was best for her to get a small apartment, so she did. Y/n had soon turned nineteen, and she went into training to become a skilled detective for the GCPD. And she hasnt had Any contact with Bruce Wayne even since she arrived at gotham. The only one she talked to was alfred. Bruce of course didnt know that his parents friend had a child. But when he heard the knews. He was most definitely shocked. This girl was also older than him by 11 months. Basically a year. Soon.. the two meet under dire circumstances, her father is dying, and bruce has to help her adapt and overcome. The baby's chest rose and fell faintly, each breath a Herculean effort. Beneath the child, the tarp was damp-not with water, but something metallic-smelling and sticky. Blood? Ramirez's stomach twisted. "Dispatch," he whispered hoarsely into his radio, forcing his voice steady. "Officer Ramirez, 9th and Mercer. I need an ambulance. I found an infant. Abandoned. Possible injury." . . "They found a baby in Gotham," Bruce finally said. "Abandoned in an alley. They ran a DNA test... and it matched you." Dick froze, the world around him suddenly quiet, as if the city itself held its breath. "What?" he said sharply, disbelief washing over him. "That's impossible."
