Hope, what a horrible name to have when you don't have any whatsoever. Hope Monroe is a regular 18 year old. She goes to school, has a job, but she hates life. Bullied every day, she just can't tolerate it any more until, she meets Justin. A 22 year old she meets on the internet who puts a smile on her face when they talk. Will there ever be more between them besides the fact they are 8 hours away from each other? Is life really worth living? ( Please note that in this story, Justin Bieber is not, at the moment, famous. If you don't like the love of my life, you can either read this as a romance or leave. Thanks ily.)

After a rough patch Emma decides to start a new chapter in her life - without music! - and attends grad school in London, Ontario. She quickly makes friends and enjoys her new life far away from her problems. One of the girls in her squad happens to be Chelsea Rebelo. As Emma and her grow closer she meets her family also befriends her fiancé Jeremy. Occasionally she even babysits the kids. One night she encounters Justin Bieber who happens to be Jeremy's eldest son. They get off on a wrong foot and Emma pretty much hates him and the image she has of him which is heavily tinted by stereotypes and preconceived notions. Justin doesn't fail to deliver and proves her right on more than one occasion. But how can an entire family be that genuine and kind except for one person? Eventually Justin sneaks his way past the walls Emma carefully built and underneath her skin, much to her despair... How could anyone be so full of themselves? How could someone be this arrogant?
