Secrets, they're what consume us. They're what can keep you safe or be the death of you. Or at least this was the case for Melanie. Melanie, poor Mel, she was so young and couldn't handle the secret she had. The secret for which she was killed. This secret that consumed her until she just couldn't take it, she wasn't strong enough for the burden of such a heavy secret.
The same secret he feeds off of is the one that consumed her. She couldn't take it, he bathed in her pain. He enjoyed watching her tremble. He delighted in her suffering under the weight of the secret he had thrust upon her. He mocked her weakness. He laughed when she couldn't handle the unbearable weight of his secret.
