Lacey Hillview loved horses and anything that had to do with them. That is until her horse accidentally stomps her knee and breaks it. Then to make her week worse her parents die in a car crash and she is sent to Alabama to live with her Best friend Jade because everything they had went to her older, scumbag brother. So she is sent to Jade's with nothing but the clothes on her back and her personal belongings. She is afraid to ride until she meets her neighbor Jett Aimsworth. He and Jade hate each other but Lacey finds herself oddly attracted to him. She hopelessly tries to change her feelings until she realizes its no use.
