Mariela arrives in Sinnoh with a strict plan: to take a long, well-deserved vacation and stay far away from any form of Pokémon training. She's had enough of that, thank you very much. Her picture-perfect roadtrip is to travel across the region with her best friend slash tour guide, Zoe, and find a nice resort for the two of them to lounge in.

Unfortunately for her, Zoe has other ideas, ones that involve a little bit more blood, sweat, and tears. And Mariela has never been very good at saying "no" to her BFF...so she'd better strap in, because this is going to be one bumpy ride.

Team Galactic had invaded her home and destroyed what she loved the most. Taking her Pokémon and home from her, she was willing to leave the place she grew up in to find her only family. For a girl who was seen as a little kid by the way she acts, it wouldn't be easy to go on a journey alone. A boy named Flame, who visited the town for unknown reasons, decided to volunteer to support her and make sure she doesn't get into trouble with the gang causing trouble across Sinnoh Flora had to build up her strength and new team to overcome anything that gets in her way. She's eager to get things done quickly, but Flame was there to offer his guidance and protection. Flame is a mysterious stranger who happened to come out of nowhere, but the two felt instantly comfortable in front of one another as soon as they met. There was a connection they couldn't understand, and Flame was determined to keep her away from harm, but at a distance. Secrets will be revealed and memories will be remembered. There are important key elements to discovering a new meaning to what happened to them in their childhood. Quinn's father is dying. Zoe's life is falling apart. Both have seen far more beyond their years, and now as Quinn's father passes away, she becomes desperate. But not even an hour after he dies, Quinn is approached by an evil fairy, forcing her to capture and bring the human, Zoe, to her. If she refuses, everyone Quinn loves will die, including her kingdom. Zoe's husband is in the armed forces, thousands of miles away for long periods of time. Her job takes away the pain of loneliness for only a little while, before she returns to an empty home. She turns to the moon for help, just like she did so many years ago, wishing she could have so much more from life. But something tells her the moon fulfills its promises a little too well.
