Love? Love is easy-it's like a walk in the park.

Except the park is on fire

And the ground is on fire. And the grass is on fire. And freakin' everything else is on fire. And the sky is black with smoke and you're weak-kneed and you can't breathe. 

But you keep going anyway, you keep riding that bike. Because outside that park, it's cold. And you think the fire keeps you warm.

I never thought that my heart would ever feel so divided between two people, precisely because I never thought that love was a divisible value. I needed, and maybe I still do, to believe in the natural process, the classical interpretation of love ; where you meet the one, and things flow from there in the most calm way one can ever think of. But it hasn't been like that for me. I tried to stop it, I tried to reason everything and find some sense into the whole mess that was created. And I failed. Because the heart wants what it wants.
