The Creature of Midnight was not always so lonely, nor The Master quite so mad.
This is the tale of two young Gallifreyans, friends loyal until the end. It's a story which explores just one possible answer to the question: what WAS that thing stealing voices on the planet called Midnight? This is the story of a creature left out in the cold and a young girl with great ambitions... and a Time Lord whose only comfort lies in a rhythm in his head.
