This is a story I wrote for English. It's about a world where people go and get their DNA infused with animal DNA and they can become animal-human hybrids. However, the government is withholding a terrible secret. The story features two of my favourite characters that I have created, Amynta and Luika. So uh, yeah. Enjoy.

The Roselands
Killhar is a wonderful place, if one disregarded the population of mystical beings running rampant in the towns. Well, they used to run rampant. Now they stay hidden in the Roselands, the bordering land beside Killhar where the trees and air thrum with waves of dark magic. Mystic Goddesses
Jolene and Jupiter were born into a family of Demi-Gods. The girls are very special because when twins are born they acquire powers of a God or Goddess at the age of 21. They will develop these powers one at a time. The family tree stretches back until the beginning of time. When a God had a baby with a human. Back then this was the biggest sin you could ever do as a God. In punishment the blood line to follow this union would be cursed and in 1000 years twins will be born to defeat the curse and stop all the people against them. That's is where Jolene and Jupiter come in. They are the only two who can stop the Evil that is coming. The book is about their life as kids leading up until now. There will be heart break, romance and adventure. Please don't steal my idea and this is the first book I have written so don't be too harsh Revising but it is pretty hard to read my own writing so be patient. I'll try to make it better. :)Complete
