"I got in a fight with Max."
Lauren stared at her expectantly; it wasn't new, she and Max were what you'd call life-long rivals, and Lauren could very well count 30 disagreements they've had in the 2 days. She kept silent when Elle continued. "Well, I don't remember how it started, but I can assure you he started it. May have been over a pen, I don't know, but long story short he claimed I had commitment issues because my mom left us to dad alone, and of course I got angry, and said, well, how can I have commitment issues if I was dating? Then, of course, he called my bluff and asked for a name, and I panicked, and... And.. " Elle bit her lip.

I wrote this at first as a prompt to one of my OTPs and I fully encourage you to read this either as your OTP (you'll have to change a few names) or just enjoy it as a fresh story. Thanks for reading, and enjoy :)
