That's pretty much Nicole "Nico" Jensen's life in a nutshell now. For the past two days, she's been hiding in a useless tank without food or water, in a failed attempt to find her lost brother, Collin. Just when she decides to take her own life, she hears a yell. She helps a former sheriff who goes by the name Rick Grimes. Together, Nico, Rick, and five others return to a camp in the woods.
She meets Daryl Dixon. Being a hunter herself, the two click. But like everyone, Nico has a secret. A secret that could destroy her relationship with this new group.
How will Daryl and Nico's relationship progress? Will her secret be revealed? And what of her brother? Is everyone she had once loved gone for good?

I started to do a trail of kisses up to the back of her ear. The tension on her shoulders started to break slowly as I kissed each inch of her skin. I'd been so worried about how she was mentally doing since the death of Lori. She hadn't processed much after the little nugget was birthed. She jumped into action immediately after, coming with me to get formula, and didn't stop until we got back to our mattress. She didn't sleep much, and I followed her out as she let out what she had been holding all day. I also have been holding back something for the past couple of weeks.
