The Shadow Girl
"Take the small one, she isn't human." Another officer came over and started to take her from my arms. She let go in shock but I grabbed her arm and I tugged back but I didn't want to hurt her. "No!" I yelled ...................... "Katerina!" She yelled "Anna!" I screamed I screamed her name as I woke up covered in sweat, I was panting and out of breath. I sat up and looked all around me. My room was dark and all that was on was my radio. I had this dream almost every night since I was taken away from Anna. This dream was real, it did happen. As you know now I am not fully human, I was not created a normal way. I was created and I am a monster...... Katerina (Kat) isn't normal but only she knows that. After she was taken away she decided to live her foster life as a shadow but sadly that doesn't work as she bounces from foster family to foster family, from school to school, and from town to town. She is constantly expelled from schools and gets into fights. After a while everything gets the best of her. After moving with a new foster family and she goes to a new school, she realizes that maybe she is not alone. Touch of Innocence
This story is the sequel to my previous story "King of the Vamps". It would be beneficial to read that story first as you will be introduced to some characters and certain plot points! Clayton, the son of revered King Ulric and Queen Amaryllis has reached the age to find his mate. The day he tracked her scent, he expected to find a gorgeous vampire attached to the scent. However, a small human child stood in place of his expectations. He felt an intense need to protect the little girl and to love and provide for her as an older brother would for their younger sister. Although he was expecting a mature female to complete his mate bond with, he is prepared to raise his young mate, who was unfortunately abandoned by her parents. Right Truth
ORIGINAL (This story is actually/sorta is based off from in real life but not really. Fiction-Fantasy-Romance, however you guys want to call it.) Cayenne, main character of this story, (also in her POV) starts dreaming in a land called Dream and about these creatures called Dreamers with one power each. When she realized she has been kidnapped by the Dreamers, she was selected to become the new Queen of Dream. Someone has called her name and she disappeared from Dream. Cayenne woke up by her friends yelling at her saying she has 'vanished'. After telling what happened, they quickly searched up the Land Of Dream. It said only if Infinity and Energy joins together, they can create the same pathway that was there from the human world to the dream world. Without knowing, bad Dreamers came inside her house and kidnapped her friends. 8 of the bad Dreamers, were unlucky and was killed by Cayenne's magical powers. To Cayenne's shock, humans were not supposed to have such powers; she was the legend the website said, Infinity. Some of her friends were left and the Royal Dreamers came for the search party. Who started this war and will she get her friends back and find Energy to create the pathway connecting to the human world and the Dream world? This isn't related to this story but, Hi i'm Kate. this is my first fully written story, though its only a short story i'm very proud of myself for fully committing to one theme and finishing it. This short story is very over dramatic and complicated because its my first story but I hope you enjoy. Description: "What are your summer plans?" My teacher asks the class. My classmates respond with the basic responses, vacation, beach, and hanging out with friends. I respond with vacation, but I don't even want to go to Orange County. It's not too far from where I live, but Sana Cruz and OC is a long drive.
