Counting Down

All Isla had ever done is wait. And wait. And wait for that clock on her wrist to finally hit zero. Everyone had a clock. It counted down in the number of years, then months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, and then seconds. She never thought her life had been worth living after her parents had died, her twin sister committed suicide-or so she thinks, and left her in the care of an unloving, adoptive family. They moved from place to place. Isla, of course, didn't care. Until, she met her best friends.
