Colours (HS)

The cover of this book was inspired by a Harry Styles fan fiction called Lone.

She saw the world as solely black and white, a lightless place that she wanted to leave. That was only because that was how hers was. Until someone taught her that she wasn't living in a grey planet, but instead a colourful world.

She was a shy and quiet girl, who longed for nothing but happiness. Happiness and answers. He was a man willing to give that to her without even knowing that he would be the reason for that smile.

The more time she spent with him, the more she felt at ease. He had such an effect on her that he made her stop to smell the roses when she would just walk by them. He turned her black & white world into a colourful painting that could only last so long. He didn't do this with words, but instead with just his presence. He was her antidote, you could say. It was a long way down for her to get back to where she used to be, and she was falling.

Together, these two work to find the explanations to their unanswered questions so that they can finally know the truth. Every family has a secret, right? His and her family have plenty. Trust no one - because some of those secrets can be actual people.
