Leslie Jackson has been through enough shit as it is. She's known Carl since even before the world ended. She and her family stayed with them up until Terminus, when she lost everyone. Except Carl. The one person who she knows will always be there for her.
Then the group comes to Alexandria. Leslie wants to be hopeful, she wants to see the good in this place because she knows there is some. That good, was Ron Anderson. The one person she knows she can't be with, and the one person she can't stand to be away from. But she has to choose, her friendship and love with Carl, or her toxic romance with Ron.

But the next morning after a series of her traps go off, she finds there is unwanted company from the Wolves headed her way. While trying to flee from the treehouse Sunny once called home, she runs into someone who is the closest thing to a friend at the moment. He is from a community, one she soon finds herself in after a short fight with the wolves. But does Sunny really belong there? She questions her own ability to fit into a lifestyle she had left behind so long ago. Between finding the journals and trying to fit in, she discovers new things about the path that lies in front of her. The longest mile has never been so clear. Where will the journals lead her? The two settle for awhile, happy with their life together in an old cabin in the woods until one day they have a reason to continue their journey to finding refuge and maybe even Carl's family. ♡ (I do not own TWD, the characters, or the plot.
