Jem Anderson goes to her Grandmas every summer, has been ever since 4th grade. But this time it's different. Kile Frinco changed her life from the minute she laid her eyes on him. Over the course of the summer, she falls for Kile while getting know him. But she doesn't know if he feels the same way. Towards the end of the summer, Jem experiences something that no one should ever experience. Her relationship with Kile strengthens each and every day after this tragic moment in Jem's life. There are ups and downs of Jem's emotions and in general her life. But Kile is there for her every step of the way. What happens when she has to leave her grandmas house to go back home for school?
