Alice Jacobs is simply a young pretty girl who needs a job. Sure, her close friend Foggy is someone who she talks to probably too much. And too much implies that he actually got her a job because of it. Being a useless intern. He really just said that she just has to bring the coffee and the cookies, nothing more. Maybe a few helpful hands like writing copies or being in the room when Matt Murdock insists on "special" input. But her boyfriend doesn't enjoy her job, and is quite the prick. Leading to some bruises, headaches and drama, which shouldn't be a problem since Alice is quite the independent women who has an innocent alter ego she puts up.
