October 31st 2010 was when it happened. Midge, Linds and their friends killed someone, by accident, of course. But for a whole year, they've been on edge, after driving away from the body they hit and not ever telling anyone that it was their fault. Exactly a year later, Halloween 2011, they plan to spend the night watching movies, in order to take their minds off what they did one whole year ago. But what do they do when one of the guys shows up with a Ouija board and they talk the girls into participating for a laugh? Things start to go wrong. Very, very wrong. "Tell me Brian, do you believe in ghosts?" Hauntings were never Zacky's kind of thing; ending up with the entire group being haunted by a ghost for that matter, certainly wasn't his idea of a good weekend. After visiting a supposed haunted house on the outskirts of town, a rather distasteful ghost has tagged along with someone. To make matters worse, the ghost is actually that one of a long-dead serial killer from the 1900s and is able to break windows and push people down staircases when they're not paying attention. Finding out that ghosts have the same qualities in life and death certainly doesn't help to improve Zacky's thoughts on the matter either. Will they be able to get rid of the ghost before it gets someone killed? How do you kill something that's already dead before it kills you?

Sawyer Garrison is the guy the teachers adore, who people want to befriend, and who girls want to date. He's the one who's been voted most likely to succeed in life after school. His family life is shit. Sawyer wants nothing more than to get out of dodge as soon as the opportunity presents itself and with only seven months, two weeks, and four days left it couldn't come sooner. That is until he meets Alyssan. Neither expected to meet the other and neither expected the horrendous outcome that arises from it. Alyssan never ran away and she didn't die of any natural causes either. She was murdered and the fact that her killer is still on the loose scares both of them. The fact that the killings started again is even worse. With the killer targeting more girls, she and Sawyer might be the only hope of stopping the deaths.
