Dying Light - Simulata Civitas (English)
After the Harran outbreak in 2014 and the global contamination in 2021 known as "The Fall", humanity is threatened with extinction by hyperaggressive zombie creatures that currently dominate the food chain. With few places left with hope in the world, the human race resists as it can and fights to the end, even though they don't know if there is a possibility of finding a cure. Hannah Vegas is one of the few survivors of this huge and dangerous world taken by constantly evolving monsters. Once a valuable guinea pig and now a wanderer, she has unbelievable skills that encourage her to face even the most feared night creatures known as volatiles, but she often suffers from visions and nightmares that lead to a sudden amnesia. This memory loss caused her to forget parts of her past and she has been fighting this condition ever since. Hannah's life changes completely when soldiers in blue and red vests meet her and say things that make her even more confused. Being constantly chased and attacked by them for unknown reasons, she finds shelter and something to fight for when she joins a hidden and humble group of survivors in Colorado. As time goes by, Hannah takes comfort in the shelter and begins to share her problems with the survivors of the group. She learns new things and shares what she has learned with her former groups in other parts of the United States. Doubts arise as more things happen and solutions appear when she finds out that the biggest problem of all has been right under their noses all along. Literally. This story takes place after the events of the Dying Light game franchise. I hope you like it and have fun.
◇ASHES OF THE PAST ▪︎01▪︎◇ (HEEJAKE)
In a world overrun by the undead, survival is only for those who can fight, flee, or hide. Young and soft-hearted Jake has managed to survive this far, but the scars of his past weight heavily on him. As a child, he witnessed his parents being devoured in front of him, leaving him traumatized and afraid to trust anyone. Since then, Jake has been navigating this nightmarish world alone, haunted by nightmares and flashes of that horrifying day. Enter Heeseung, a former soldier and survivalist with an unbreakable will and unmatched strength. When Heeseung stumbles upon Jake during a zombie attack, he instantly recognizes something broken yet incredibly resilient in him. Drawn by an overwhelming need to protect, Heeseung saves Jake from certain death and offers him a chance to join his group of survivors. Together, they form a bond that quickly grows into something deeper. Heeseung becomes Jake's anchor, using his strength to fend off both zombies and the darkest corners of Jake's mind. Through every attack and every narrow escape, Heeseung's protective nature keeps Jake safe, slowly helping him confront the trauma and memories that haunt him. As Jake and Heeseung face ruthless gangs, relentless undead, and the constant dangers of an apocalyptic wasteland, Heeseung never wavers. He stands as a shield against the horrors of the world, and Jake becomes his reason to keep fighting. While Jake starts to heal, he begins to realize that even in the darkest times, he can find hope and love and maybe even a new family.
