This is a story about an insecure, awkward, outspoken, teen who just moved to a new school and is trying to figure out life. Mariah is a 16 year old girl, who is originally from Louisiana but moved to Texas at a young age. She's a short Cajun girl with long curly hair, big brown eyes, pretty slim, and takes her style pretty seriously. She's very adventurous, but isn't too risky. She is very smart and feisty, so you don't want to get on her bad side.
