It's only a couple of generations since the Culling Plague that ended the Era of Redistribution. As the industries and corporations fell during the Era of Redistribution, many of the Ristocrats could barely survive because they didn't have an education or any useful skills. These were the ones you found at the shelters with the Mericans. It was good that 1Church was around or they would be dead from starvation or being killed by their former workers. A rare number of Ristocrats and Mericans were spared by society because they were either environmentally-focused or socially philanthropic.

Consumption tax is high. A barter economy is rampant. Life goes on and it's time to elect the new Latin America Director for the World Board. The Era of Redistribution had changed party politics.

The Restoration Party was viewed as a Men's Club comprised of former workers that used to run the various business and industry for the Ristocrats and Mericans.

The Innovationist Party wants to improve beyond the past using all the scientific disciplines like biology, neurology, and even political science to create a more sustainable economy.

Despite all this, some things never change.
