Twenty-two year old Justice Mantovani was ready for a change. She had big dreams to make it out of Atlanta and wanted to be known for more than just a thug's baby mama, doing make up in a hole in the wall salon, and struggling to make it out the projects. After the birth of her daughter, she saw something different for herself and decided it was time to stop talking and make things happen, with or without the support of her longtime on again, off again boyfriend, August. The relationship between the two is passionate and loving, just as much as it was toxic and heartbreaking. They've had a history of a ten years and a bond that no one could understand but them. But Justice knew unless August was ready to commit to her and their child, she'd have no choice but to move on and do what's best for them.
August Alsina is young, wild, and determined to survive his neighborhood and provide for his family. His love for Justice runs deep and it grew even stronger after seeing her give birth to their baby girl. Their past they share is full of so much love and pain, with a lot of it coming from his end. No matter what they went through and how much Justice tried, she just couldn't get August to shake his dark past and love her how she's loved him since day one. No one understood August or had his back like Justice did. Unfortunately for him, he wasn't ready to settle down and give her the life she deserves despite the years of trying. But sooner or later, when his backs against the wall and he's faced with losing everything, August finally has to choose between the streets or his heart.
And who's to say they'll be there when he finally does realize what he needed and wanted has always been in front of him.
