The tale of a good rat and his quest to make amends. In this tale Toby, a troubled white rat, is welcomed into the abbey of Brookshire after the death of the kind abbot Graham. Though not responsible for the abbot's passing Toby believes he must make amends, but despised by every member of the abbey, he has a long road ahead of him. Soon Toby embarks on a quest to find a lost sword and protect his new home from the deadly adversary Lord Beol, an evil black rat and leader of the Brood.
