-Let's get this straight. From a dead end job to a useless crazy ex boyfriend- my happiness is with my best friend yet the fear of our relationship ending completely scares me and id rather fake it and be in fear than find out and never be happy. It sucks, seeing him everyday and knowing what i feel for him and how deep those feelings go is painful...- But when he comes around everything changes for the best and for the worst. I recall how my sister and I used to recite a little poem together as we gazed up at the big, star-studded, Kansas night sky together. God heard my boyish wish upon a star and granted me a life filled with adventure. If you ask me why He chose to grant my wish, I'd say it was so that I could share my adventures with others. Now, you may expect that, as Mark Twain said, my stories have at least an element of truth, but that I've added a lot of color - truth be told, they are more flavor than fact. In this world, there are some people who get their happily ever afters and others who don't. Those who get their magical fairytale romance, cherish it for as long as it lasts while the others never get to enjoy the wonders of a fairytale. Instead, they are forced to stay inside their hopeless reality and grow old thinking about what they did to deserve never getting their once upon a time. I think those are the ones who wanted it bad enough. They craved a fairytale more than life itself. Devoted their lives to Disney movies and romance books just to be let down by the real world. Life is the sum of experiences that we encounter as we go through life. Day to day struggles and triumphs are experienced by all of the world's creatures. As human beings, when we encounter a challenge, we have freedom to choose how to react. Every decision that we make leads us down a different road. We will never come to exactly the same crossroads. Every decision that we make has significance. The tiniest choice that we make reverberates throughout the entire universe. All of us experience change in our lives. Change is the one constant in our lives. There are changes that we look forward to and change that we fear. However, one thing is for sure. Things will not stay the same no matter how much we would like them too. When a life change occurs, we have two choices in how to respond. We can despair that a change has come and assume that things will be worse, or we can look with excitement at the new possibilities that the change presents. It has been said that life is the most patient teacher. You will be presented with the same experience over and over until you learn the best way to deal with the situation.. This is not because life is cruel. Rather, it is because things have a way of coming back to haunt us when we don't deal with them. One form of intelligence is the ability to learn from mistakes. When you are presented with a painful experience, take the time to think about how you can avoid it in the future. This is an example of a lesson learned.Complete
