Having one voice in your head is hard enough but two? That's just crazy. Except it isn't in Elisha's world. Elisha Wolland is a Inhabiter , which basically means that her familiar (an etheral being that represents a persons inner abilities) is inside her and not projected outside the human body. And if it weren't bad enough Elisha is one of the very few Inhabiters left, which means that someone or something is hunting Inhabiters, and they have Elisha near the top of their list. Not only that but their is a war going on for the very sake of humanity and Elisha is right in the middle of it. Talk about Pressure, but then again its just like every other day at Rowland Academy.

Where two lines don't merge into one, but instead become parallel lines to support each other, going in the same direction. Two separate entities, both fine, on their own, but better together. -Doobydobap I know I'm not human, but apart from that my life seems mundane. Get the reaping done. Be nice to Levy; don't wake up Mum. Talk to Aster and Blake, if they come over. Go to bed. But things are changing. People change. And I seem to just be the same. And now it feels like I'm alone in everything I do, even as a twin. And all the while, people are still changing. One of them is desperately sick but doesn't know it. One of them is half dead- literally and metaphorically. One of them I thought I knew more than myself for my whole life, but now I feel like they're a different person. There doesn't have to be a bad guy for there to be a wild story.
