Reincarnated as the infant Rudeus, he quickly figures out which story he's landed in: the world of Jobless Reincarnation, where the Human God decided to kill the boy's parents before he could even grow up, just to avoid being sealed down the line. The problem for the god? This Rudeus is immortal. He can die - and he does, over and over, blown apart, burned to bone, reduced to a skeleton - just to push the limits of his own magic until he masters it completely. That's how he develops magic of his own at the molecular level: breaking matter down and recombining it from scratch, from splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen to building weapons that can level a hillside in a single blast. While he trains to get strong enough before the Human God makes its next move, Rudeus is also busy winning people over along the way - starting with Roxy, his tutor, a powerful mage who can't decide whether she's more impressed or unsettled by the talent (and the flirting) of a three-year-old. And she's just the first: Sylphie, Ghislaine, and Eris are still to come.
