'Crossroads Academy: School for Monsters and Magically Gifted Humans'
...Says the sign above the main entrance to the school I literally live in. That is, it says that if you're not human (like me) or if you're a magical human (like my sworn enemy, Luther Jones). If you're just a regular old human, however, it's just boring old 'Crossroads Academy-School for the Gifted.' Really, there's nothing boring about Crossroads Academy, seeing as half the students are from other dimensions and the other half look like they could be from other dimensions, including yours truly. They teach us some pretty strange stuff, too, like how to enchant your shoes to untie themselves, how to ward off werewolves, and all about an interdimensional war that's been going on for years behind our backs. Not only that, but the enemy in the war I mentioned just so happens to look a lot like my mom, who happens to be crazy and in magical jail because she killed my dad and tried to kill me.
...Which means the enemy looks more than a bit like me, meaning I've gone from being disliked to being thought of as a possible spy, or even worse-an enemy myself.
Welcome to my world.
