A girl with kaleidoscope eyes seems to be a magnet for danger. A boy keeps his distance and helps protect her secretly with magic for years, as a part of his apprenticeship to a Great Wizard who took him in when he was young (and a mixture of personal duty and fascination.) Against his mentor's guidance, over the years he falls in love with her. Although, he struggles with trying to maintain other relationships, training almost from sun up to sun down- in all his free time studying to be an extremely powerful wizard worthy of a title himself. She is finally getting footing in her nomadic life, had started to build something like a home when her life is upturned and when everything she didn't know about her powers and where she came from becomes the key she needs to save her friends, she goes on a quest to find The Fortress where the rest of her race of fractal-eyed people have isolated themselves from the rest of the world.

Feeling down as ever, just like that a boy just shows up. Too good to be true right. Ace Conners a boy, that has trust issues. His parents are never home and always alone, then one day a girl moves in next door, what do you do. You get their already messed up life tangled with your also very messed up life. The thing is he doesn't know the whole story. He doesn't know that she has a different story. He doesn't know about her powers or the chaos going on back where she use to live. Now Karrianne's list of problems just keeps growing, why , well because of the boy that got his life tangle with yours of course. She is in love. Something she has never experience much less in a whole other world maybe even Galaxy, but of course Karrianne knows the rules, no dating humans, or else things could go bad, very bad.Complete

She'd spent many years playing in this forest as a child. While Selene had enjoyed her novels in the warmth of the house, a blanket wrapped around her narrow shoulders, Sidra always came home covered in mud and scrapes from hours out in the wilderness. She'd take an axe out into the forest and pretend to fight off monsters, the terrifying Mystics that her grandmother had told her stories about. She'd pretend to fight Lycans, knocking out their massive teeth one by one. She'd stand atop rocks and throw her axe at the trees, pretending they were wood nymphs come to steal her away. She'd always return home and tell Selene about the monsters she'd fought that day, spinning together a story of courage and bravery for her little sister. She felt that pain in her heart again as she thought of those times. Through the years, she'd stop going into the woods to play, and she'd instead find stories for Selene. Books of all sizes and shapes, no matter the content, because it made her feel close to her sister just as she had before her parents died. She thought of her family now, how she was all alone. Her parents had been gone for years, her grandmother, and now even Selene was missing somewhere. She needed to find her sister, she couldn't lose the last bit of her family. **Complete
