Meet Ryan. He is a rather troubled boy who's been bounced between foster homes all across America. In one of these homes, Ryan gets lost in the woods and attacked by a grizzly bear, escaping with two broken bones and a concussion.

Meet Mud. He is the bear who attacked a little boy in his woods, driven off by hounds before he could finish the child. Mud also is a keeper of magic: one born with special powers.

Now meet Scarlet. She is a ruby colored grizzly bear cub who is changed into a human as vengeance. She has no idea of her heritage nor does she wish to find out.

What happens to Ryan after being attacked? How will Scarlet change his life? Will it be for the better?

"Meet Scarlet, a young woman who's lived her life believing she's a dragon, just like her parents. But when mysterious events and bloody hands become a recurring nightmare, she's forced to confront the truth: she's a demon. Taken in by a secret supernatural school, Scarlet must navigate a world of ancient powers, hidden agendas, and forbidden love. As she struggles to control her demonic side, she'll uncover secrets about her past, her family, and the true nature of her existence.
