I looked at him with scrutinizing eyes and I can see that he's sincere about it. But looks can be deceiving; even an angel-faced person can be a devil. I smirked while looking at him straight in the eyes. His sincere and hopeful eyes faltered as he drank in my expression with clear understanding. He knew then; there's no way I will forgive him.
"You're sorry?..." I asked him sarcastically, and looked at him from head to toe and smiled bitterly "...Too bad, you're 10 years too late." I said with finality as I walked way with hot tears streaming down my face.
That'll be the last time I will cry because of him.
