Hi! This is a continuation of Shadow: Awakening. This fanfiction follows Shadow after he wakes up from stasis and explores the gaps in the storyline of Sonic Adventure 2 and Shadow the Hedgehog, including branching into the Archie Comics a bit. If you have not read the first part of Shadow: Awakening, I suggest you read that first. All characters belong to SEGA.

This fan fiction will go into detail about Shadow's complicated past, and will start with his creation on the ARK. Shadow is battling memories, mind-control, and struggling to find his true identity. Is he a Hero? A Villain? A Mercenary who cares for nothing but self gain? Or will he withhold nothing in his quest for revenge? He must discover who he truly is, and in the process, unearth the truth behind Maria's TRUE last request. I portray Shadow as a character who is torn between personalities. That's where they meet new allies with special abilities and other creatures as the search for the Chaos Emeralds again who was got spread away. Will they find the person they are looking for and stop Mephiles from destroying everything? (This story is based on Sonic Prime and Sonic X Shadow Generations).
