On the run from the demons of her past, Stella is all alone. Born an orphan and fooled by love, she fell into the trap of an abusive relationship. Escaping the clutches of her abuser, she flees to a new city. Living in a shoe box apartment and working at a scummy club, she has nowhere to go. Until she meets Luka.

Luka has a secret. A secret that couldn't be shared with mortals. Created by the powers of Heaven and Hell, he is the supervisor of all things supernatural. But this job came with one flaw, he isn't allowed to love. That all changes when he finds Stella. But is she worth the fight that could end in his demise?
