A group of friends vacationing on a mountain lodge takes a dark turn when they pull a prank on their friend Mona and she wounds up dead.
After one year Alison (The main friend in the group) sends out invites for a reunion back up in the Vanderwaal mountain and what all of the friends don't know is that the nightmare is far from over.
Strange things start happening to the group of friends as some stay in the main lodge and some go their own way on the mountain and end up getting lost.
What will happen when a man in which seems to be a serial killer tries to "Kill" them or even something else more dangerous tries to murder them all and can they make it until dawn?
