Would it make them bad children if they didn't acknowledge their mothers' best friend?

If the answer to that was yes, then Jason Dubman and Naomi Kelly were the worst children you could've ever met. Not only did they not know that their mothers had been best friends for more than fifteen years, but they didn't even know the other existed. 

But, when they do learn about each other, they find out a lot about the other, including their mutual devotion to skateboarding. It was love at first ollie.

Just when the two were at a point where they couldn't be closer, something happened. And then another thing. And then heartbreak. Let's just say that Naomi should've never tried to do a trick that was way too advanced for her.  

Maybe that could've saved them a whole lot of hurt...
