However, things take a twist when someone mysteriously attempts on her life, making Emma decide to hire a bodyguard for her own safety: Killian Jones. As both begin to get close with every second that goes by, they are unable to fight the attraction and feelings that start to bloom between them. Will they ignore them or will Emma and Killian be willing to take the risk of falling in love no matter what? A fanfiction filled with mystery, adrenaline and a burning passion that will get all Captain Swan shippers hooked.

(Takes place after Once Upon A Time episode 4×12) King Cornelius is based off of Cornelius from William Shakespeare's play, Cymbeline. Cornelius was the court physician for the King and Queen of Britain. By the way he acted in the play I though of him as needy for power. He was sent to poison the Queen's daughter by the Queen, and taking the Once Upon A Time twist, I wanted him to poison everyone so he could rule. Finished in 2015 (Book1)

That was how it always was until a new person came to work for her. Killian Jones is trying to start his life. His father is a drunk and is abusive, and he needed to get away. Now that he was finally done with college, he couldn't go back home. He stumbles across a famous hotel in Hollywood, California, that is looking to hire. What could possibly go wrong?
