Ezra Grant was able to get any girl he wanted with just a charming smile and a light twinkle of sky blue eyes. He could intimidate anyone with his large stature and fearsome aura. However, he wasn't like most hot guys; he only pictures himself with one girl since the day he knew what the word 'love' meant... and the feeling only gets stronger everyday he's with her.

Frankie Allen is 'her.' The quiet girl who has a harder time making friends with her indecisive tendencies and being slightly introverted. But if you ever got the chance to get to know her, you'd wish you'd only met her sooner because she's the most trusted, kindest, and beautiful person you could ever meet. That's who Ezra fell in love with, and each day the love he has for only grew stronger, and so did the difficulty of him not voicing it.

But high school changes people and life can hit you hard. Hormones invade our system and it's harder to contain our emotions. So when Frankie starts developing feelings for Ezra, it's obviously fate. But is it fate that will keep them together? Or will the weight of the universe around them tear the lovers apart through jealous crazy exes, obsessed kidnappers, and deranged family members?

17-almost-18-year-old Ezra Thompson is tired of two things. First, is constant chatter about Dilemma, an all-boy rock band, led by the supposedly-dreamy frontman Andre Robinson that somehow has a universal grip on every teenager in the world. Personally, Ezra doesn't see the appeal. Second, being in the shadow of her more smart, successful, and popular twin brother Emmet. Ezra couldn't ask for a better life. The thing is, Ezra, can sing. Like really sing. Only her parents who are occasionally proud of her, treat it as a juvenile hobby and she could never sing in front of people. So for now, her shampoo bottles get front-row access to her once-a-night concert in the shower. But when Ezra's younger sister, Maria, signs her up for a singing reality show called Finding Solstice, she is both angry and grateful. To her surprise, she passes the audition and is invited to Los Angeles for the show. Suddenly immersed in the cutthroat music industry, Ezra faces a whirlwind competition against fame-hungry singers, all fighting tooth and nail for the same prize. Amidst the manufactured forces of the industry, she must stand her ground and protect her passion for music. As if that wasn't enough, Ezra finds herself suddenly encountering a pretentious rockstar and is unexpectedly drawn to him. As the competition heats up, Ezra finds herself at the center of a brewing scandal that could end her career before it even starts. The pressure is on, and Ezra is torn between her passion for music and the fear of being dragged down. The stakes are high, and people are unforgiving, but Ezra knows that her music is worth fighting for. With her future on the line, she must navigate the twists and turns of the music industry and stay focused on what really matters: her music and her dreams.

Nyctophilia (n.) -love of darkness or night. finding relaxation or comfort in the darkness --- Life isn't always easy. Sure there's some ups, but there's also downs. My life went downhill real fast the day I lost my voice. The day I stopped talking to any human being. The day that all of it changed the entire way around. I honestly thought I'd stay that way forever... you know, quiet, introverted, sad, but mostly scared. Until I met him. Until he came and changed everything for the best without even knowing it. --- Nyctophilia Heather Walker used to be a ray of sunshine. The kind of person who put a smile on your face with one single glance. Surely, her life was too perfect to be real. Everything got ruined that one night. Since, she hasn't pronounce a word or even communicated with someone who isn't family or best friend. Since... she hates the world. She despises it. Until he comes along. Until he opens a door for Nyctophilia. A door that leads to something she hadn't believed in for years. A door towards hope. Aaron Christopher Black aka your typical underground fighter. Tall, muscular, extremely handsome, but mostly scary. His glare could kill someone easily. He could snap your bone in two without even trying. He is the guy your parents warned you about. Nonetheless, everyone has a reason to their actions, right? No one really knows why he's so cold and mysterious... until she comes in the decor. Ah, will the big bad guy be able to resist to sweet Nyctophilia or will he be whipped so easily no one would believe he really is terrifying? --- ⚠️TW⚠️ This book can contain really sensitive subjects such as self-harm, rape, self-sabotage, eating disorder, depressed thoughts, strong languages and such. I will not put a trigger warning at each chapter, so read at your own risk. I warned you, if you're still reading and it triggered you, it is not on my part anymore.
