After Allegiant
Everyone thinks Tris is dead, but that's because that's what she wants them to think. In reality she had to take drastic chances to save the people she loved, even if it means getting hurt in the process. You know what they say, desperate times call for desperate measures.
With Tris gone Tobias feels like he's falling apart, especially when they go back to Chicago and the factions are put back into place. Everyone keeps telling him it'll be alright, but with Tris gone how can it be? He feels broken and has to do the only thing he knows how to do: put up walls. If nobody can get in nobody can hurt him again.
This is the prequel to Starting Over so if you read it first you won't miss anything but there may be a few spoilers. Also, there will be little to no FourTris in this story. Starting Over has more if that's what you're looking for.

A Different Fate (After Allegiant-Divergent)
WARNING IF YOU HAVE NOT READ ALLEGIANT THEN DO NOT READ THIS BOOK OR EVEN THE SUMMARY! I HAVE WARNED YOU! It has been two years since Tris' death, and Tobias still isn't coping with the pain. He stays strong for the people on the outside, while on the inside he is broken and lost without Tris. But, he just has to keep telling himself that life goes on, and that his life will get better, even though some days will be hard to cope through. But that's what friends are for, right? But what happens when he looses friends, or when some want to become more than friends? Will it drive him insane, or will he just accept the fact that Tris is gone and she would want him to go on with life. But Tris never left him. She is with him everyday, he just doesn't know it. Wanted to hear a book 4?Tris comes back from the dead thanks to Caleb making a revival serum. See what happends as she is faced with new challenges with action, love, and emotions. ~~ As memory serum was released into Chicago, did it really stop everyone from becoming mindless? Did someone find a way to manipulate the anti-memory serum and use it to regain some of the blank minded peoples memory back again. Chasm

To maintain stability, the faction leaders decide to return to the faction system. Because of this, the sixteen-year-olds that chose that year are sent back to their former factions for nine months. Tris falls into a state of depression after the war and her impromptu breakup that occurred at the end of it, and returning back to Abnegation--to the same house as her traitor brother--doesn't help. Tobias remains in Dauntless, but while he isn't exactly despondent, he does feel out of place. He doesn't fit in and cannot go on with normal life after everything that happened. Then, Choosing Day arrives. And history definitely does not repeat itself when Tris goes through the initiation process with her old friends and enemies, her ex-boyfriend, and the new sixteen-year-olds, while citizens of Chicago are mysteriously dying. This story is a different ending to Allegiant. In this story, Tris never got shot and all the people who died aren't dead. Al is still dead though because I don't like him. Tris and Tobias have a perfect life. They have a healthy relationship and they train initiates together. Their life can't get better! But can it get worse?
