Alex is an eighteen year old girl that lives in Michigan with her father. Her father tells her they're moving in with her fathers girlfriend and soon-to-be-wife, Cindy. Where does Cindy live? Oh..nothing major..except the fact that she lives almost across the united states in California. Alex doesn't exactly want to leave, as she dislikes Cindy and doesn't want to leave the home she's grew up in. Alex also finds out that Cindy has a daughter, Ashley. And Ashley is exactly like Cindy. Alex is quite nervous to start a new year in a new school. What will people think of her? Will people like her? It seems as though the only person that she has a hard time with is a strange boy named Sebastian. Why is he always looking at her? Why does he hate her? Why is Ashley always hanging out with him?
