Maria lives the life of luxury until one day she wakes up to find her parents and all her servants dead. its only when a mysterious man shows up that things start to take a turn.  She starts questioning who would have killed her family and leave her alive. She keeps remembering a curse on her family and wonders if its true.   All she can hope for are answers, which she isn't getting so lucky with.
