Dean Winchester is a high school senior who never pays attention in class and is on the football team. He feels like he can never get his father's approval. He loves his brother and his struggling with a crisis of identity when he meets his new tutor. 

Sam Winchester is Dean's younger brother and is in his first year at high school. For him it is a breeze and he is always the one who gets the praise. He gets tired of his brother's teasing but loves him anyway. He is struggling with the fact that his family may be falling apart.... His new found dreams start to trouble him and develop into bigger fears. 

Castiel Novak is a senior as well and doesn't get along very well with people. He tries to stay out of trouble but is a constant target for the football team. When he is assigned as a tutor he wants to become closer friends with his new pupil but doesn't know how.

He has never talked to anyone since he was 14 years old only to his little brother a couple of times. Dean only communicates with his family by using sign language. Sam has always been shy with people and always wanted to be alone and only talked to people he trusted. Castiel works at a coffee shop, he also helps out at his older brothers, Lucifer and Michaels new family diner. Gabriel works at a candy store shop and also helps out at the diner.
