Karma Hansen is a young girl who struggles with the past of an abusive boyfriend, bad home life, and PTSD, as well as other serious mental health issues. She finds this the pain she is feeling is hard to cope with. When she feels like it all is becoming too much to handle is contemplating her own death, she meets a friend who becomes the most important person in her life. The one problem is the distance between them.
