She never expected to fall for the cat. It had been a year since she last saw her crush and her partner. Marinette was nervous. She could understand being nervous when she met Adrien. She could barely think straight once he entered the room. But Chat Noir? Everyone had changed. Not just clothing and hairstyles, but personalities.
Her first day back on the job and she's started falling for Chat Noir. Why? She had no idea.

This is my first fanfiction that has been published. I'm hoping that something around what happens in this fanfiction may happen when the second season comes around. "I just don't understand, Chat. I thought...all this time...," she clenched her fists at her sides and stared up at him, "What changed?" Chat Noir stepped closer, pinning her against the railing of her balcony. The moonlight highlighted the dark ridges of his mask and his green eyes shone through the dark leather, as equally enticing and mesmerizing as they'd been that night they danced on the Eiffel Tower. "I'm a cat, Mari." he whispered. He wrapped his arms around her waist and the heat from his body made her shiver in the cold. She pressed her palms against his chest and his warm breath ruffled her fringe. Chat offered her a small smile, her heart hammering in her chest. "And sometimes..." he dipped his head down to hers. "We cats tend to stray." ~~~ While out one night in the park, Chat Noir finds Marinette and tries to escort her home safely. But she's injured protecting him from an akuma and he feels responsible for her. Intent on making it up to her, Chat Noir visits her regularly to make sure she's doing well. But it doesn't take long before their meetings become more than just casual check-ups. Bad things happen when superheroes fall for civilians, but even with the threat of Hawk Moth looming around, Chat can't seem to stay away. Will the risks be worth it in the end? (COMPLETED T_T)Marinette's mind is being put to the test, and as the akuma's powers are growing, since the combination of the butterfly and peacock miraculous, Marinette's life as Ladybug had been more and more stressful. She never shows this pain unless through her civilian self, and that was also at home, where she cries her eyes out every night. And every time her 3 best friends had asked her, "What's wrong?" she would always say "I'm fine!" Only to keep them safe. Adrien didn't believe her fake facade and looked past her plastic smile, so he decided to visit her one evening after his patrol as Chat Noir with Ladybug. What would happen when the breaking civilian meets the unexpected alleyway cat? Will she open her heart to him? And how long will her mask hold up? 2nd book, a dedicated fanfic to miraculous!!!!!!
