Put a pen to the paper
Some say "It's just poetry"
No this is not just poetry
It's emotions spilling on a page
Words filled with sadness and rage
Poetry is a window to the soul
Because sometimes we can't find the door
Put a pen to the paper
And go places you have never been before.
