Have you ever wondered whether or not there was another Greek god? Maybe a forgotten god because of what she did or what people thought she did?
Adrasteia was a Greek goddess, her name meaning "he who stands his ground" in other words, courageous. She was immature, and listened to someone she shouldn't have listened to, and got punished for it. The Greek family shunned her. For her to get her rightful place as one of the gods, she has to prove her innocence. The thing is when people forget about you, you start to fade away. With many people having already forgotten about her, will she be able to prove her innocence and get the culprit before she fades?
(This is all figment of my imagination. If by some chance there is an ancient goddess named Adrasteia, this isn't her actual story. But it would be cool/scary if it was)

An introverted, recluse gamer accidentally finds out she's the reincarnation of a Greek god/goddess, and is stuck in a world-altering time-loop until she figures out WHICH god/goddess she's destined to become. ***** Ophelia Jones is...well, she's nothing. She asks for nothing. She WANTS nothing. Just to stay in her dark basement-apartment, do her mindless data-entering job by day, play video games by night. DanMachi: Descent Of A Tragedy
A long time ago, shortly before the Gods descended upon the lower world, Zeus spoke with a fellow deity. "Soon the divine will abdicate their place in heaven; they strive for entertainment in the lower world. However, I must demand that you remain here." The deity was confused, Zeus quickly caught onto his complicated expression. "Your divine power is far too great. Even if we were to seal it, you would likely become a tragedy to the beings of the lower world." Zeus expanded, understanding his explanation the deity hesitantly accepted the old God's demands. Soon after this conversation, the gods descended, The Deity was left trapped in an empty husk of the once bustling heaven. For a millennia the god was isolated and trained in completed solitude... each and everyday he practiced completely suppressing his divinity within his body. The process was grueling. The potent energy he locked within himself eventually began to tear him apart from the inside. In the end, the pain was only a small price to pay... If his torture succeseeded his divinity would be completely cotained and then he could finish step foot into the lower world without causing a tragedy. The Myth of Phaedra
Curiosity, never before had Phaedra considered how much trouble she could get into because of it. She never stopped to consider the consequences of asking questions, never thought the punishment could be so severe. But, in the town of Zaesria, something as simple as curiosity is the cause of her sorrows; or, it is when it involves questioning the gods. This is a myth I wrote for my mythology class :D it was supposed to be at least five microsoft pages long (and had no length limit) so what do I do? Write a FIFTY page myth, that's what (I couldn't help it, once I started writing I just couldn't stop!) EPIC: The Musical ~ The Repentance Saga
Odysseus told me I wasn't allowed to leave the ship, to not set foot on the lands of the Underworld, but I couldn't help it. It was just laying there, glistening under the light of the glowing souls, and it seemed to be calling my name. "I'll be right back," I mumbled to no one in particular, before climbing out of the ship onto the cold plateau. Every step I took closer to it, its pull became stronger. I reached for it, my fingertips nearly touching the cold metal hilt of the glowing sword, when a vaguely familiar voice called my name. -=~=- She knew that sneaking onto a ship of the king's fleet was as dangerous as a mere mortal challenging Zeus to a battle. But she longed for adventure, dreamt of a life where she could waltz with death, hoped to one day feel alive. But then the crew found her, and the moment the captain laid eyes upon her, she knew her life had changed forever.

Many forget that the goddess of love was born from the raging sea, but she would do anything to protect her daughter. Adora was Aphrodite's last daughter. Her mother kept her hidden. But, her mother isn't the only one who can keep a secret, especially in a world where your role in society is everything. For there was a prophecy long before she was born: 'Aphrodite's last child would be the one to take the throne, Her paternity unknown. They would carve her face and never forget, for she would be the most beautiful that they had met Cursed for the same fate as her mother Forced to leave her love for another The only way she shall break this curse is if she defeats the first' "Looks like the princess doesn't need saving after all." He says, quietly enough that no one else would hear, as he draws his hand away from my arm. I glare back at him. "Maybe she never did," I walk away, not sparing a single glance back, no matter how much my body was begging me to. I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. Please excuse any inaccuracies in the book, but if there are any please do message or comment it and I will see if I can change it without making such a huge difference to the plot. Also, my main character is autistic and the experience will be different for everyone. I have tried my hardest to put down on paper how I feel and how I believe others see me. So, please be respectful about the decisions my characters make as I have chosen to give them many different types of neurodivergent brains.
