Once a day writing

I just recently bought a book from Barnes and Nobles called Complete the Story. On every page there is a writing prompt of a sentence or two which then goes blank, allowing me to write whatever I feel like writing based on those sentences. They are all random topics from fantasy to non-fiction. The first sentences with the "..." are the writing prompt sentences, the last bit is mine. I plan on adding a new one every day, hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.
