I'm tired of running. I just wanna spend my life with someone I love and someone that loves me the same. I've been in foster care for a while now, always escaping but this couple comes out of the blue without even meeting me and takes me in. This man doesn't even look old enough to adopt me. So as I sit in this circle of fuck ups, I realize just how different I am from them. I didn't attempt suicide because my mother was a crack addict who didn't want me. My father wasn't abusive. I didn't have a sibling die in a car accident. I was never really bullied either. I attempted suicide because, for the first time in years, I thought I had found something that could make me feel again... and after not feeling much at all for far too long, perhaps I went a bit overboard

Twisted Control
Some guys are smooth, unreadable-dangerous in a way that makes your pulse do things it shouldn't. But hey, who doesn't have a little emotional damage these days? Then the weird stuff starts. The calls. The messages. The undeniable feeling that someone's watching you. Totally normal, right? (Wrong.) Everything started the night before we moved out of our town. I decided to take a late night swim at the lake I love the most. It was sort of a goodbye, a way to somehow wash the pain brought about by my parents' divorce, but then he appeared. As I was floating in the lake, watching the moon and the stars, I heard a noise in the water, and as I turned my head, I saw this guy drowning. I saved him, I brought him back to life, and then... I kissed him and fell in love with him. Things changed after that one stolen kiss. I ran away, and I never thought that I would see him once again, but I did. Little did I know that the moment we meet again, my life would never be the same. This is a story, of how I learn what love really is, of how I came to accept it, of how I came to fight for it. This is not a story about romance. It's way more than that. This is a story where love, family, and little bit of mystery collides. This is a story about my love.

"Everything I need is here," he whispered in my ear. I looked into his eyes, only to see me in them. He pulled me closer; we were just inches away from each other his breath was fanning my face. I could hear our heart beat in a rhythm, being this close to him; I could feel his heart hammering in his chest. His grip tightened around my waist as he placed his other hand on my cheek. My hands were on his chest, holding his shirt which seemed like my only support as my knees felt like jelly! It seemed so magical. We were so lost in each other, he leaned closer and my eyes shut automatically. As soon as his lips met mine, a thousand fire crackers started bursting in my head, there were goosebumps on my skin and butterflies in my stomach. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Should you tolerate anything in a relationship just to make it work or because he's your first love? Because sometimes, for a FOREVER you will have to fall in love all over again..

A couple years ago, my older brother and I saw something that we shouldn't have seen. Ever since then, we have been on the run from our father, constantly having to change our names, birth dates, eye colors and hair colors. We last found ourselves in California, we were able to settle down and make friends, and even get into relationships, but then he found us, and things got bad. This time, we're tired of running. This time we are going to stand our ground.
