Within only a year, Hazel's life has changed completely. Six months after the "encounter" with Chaos and his crew, she still struggles to hold on to what is left of herself while Stoick is determined to make her the perfect daughter. Against her father's wishes, Hazel still remains rebellious. However, when news of the new, unstable tribe called Riot reaches Berk, Stoick sees the opportunity to turn his daughter into the perfect heir. The chief of Riot has little control over his people but his daughter, Emberlynn, could be the one to show Hazel what it means to have Royal blood. Will Emberlynn succeed in changing Hazel or will the plan completely backfire?

**I do NOT own the HTTYD characters. I only own my characters and the plot. No stealing.
This is the SECOND book. It will not make much sense if you haven't read the FIRST (Hearts of Dragons).

*Currently uploading season 2 chapters while the book undergoes revisions* Aegon II Targaryen x Female OC (Rhaenyra Targaryen & Ser Harwin Strong's daughter: Vaella Velaryon) This book also contains a little sprinkle of Cregan Stark for my own personal sanity. ------------------------------- COPYRIGHT This story (previously titled "The Fire & Blood of Dragonriders") is an original work of fanfiction created by me (@sgtlucypepper) using a combination of the novel "Fire & Blood" by George R. R. Martin, and HBO's TV series "House of the Dragon." I own no characters aside from those, which are my own. Chapter images originate from either my own creation, Pinterest, "House of the Dragon" visuals, or "Fire & Blood," illustrated by Doug Wheatley. DISCLAIMER This story contains mature & graphic themes, such as cursing, sex, violence, and Targaryencest. Aegon's character will be portrayed to book and TV series accuracy, meaning there will be talk of SA. I personally understand how hard reading about these situations can be, so if you are sensitive to those, I kindly recommend not reading this fanfic. For the sake of the plot and mature content, all characters will be aged in accordance to their given births from "Fire & Blood," as the series adaptation modulated their youth. In addition, all will be of maturity during scenes containing adult matter. "The Dying of the Dragons'" setting in regard to the years(s) of occurring events utilizes the timeline of "House of the Dragon." However, intervals between events in "Fire & Blood" will be referenced. Plot information that varies between adaptions may be from the book, if not familiar. The future of this story has been predetermined using the events of "Fire & Blood," a book I have read thoroughly in order to meet the accuracy of HBO's retelling of the Dance of the Dragons to the best of my ability. While I currently upload season two chapters, I appreciate your patience as I balance that, book revisions, and school.
Daffodils and Hyacinths (3rd book in the Forgotten Truths series) by ROSEEE___555
28 parts Complete
"One small incident can ruin or change a person's life - Now imagine a storm," Dusty winds spit at Sun'Tribe and her people. Cramped, multiple families are forced to huddle in one of the ruins; the only remaining proof of the original four tribes that used to stand. "Unifying us all is what should make us less insecure about ourselves, but our differences are what makes each one of us unique; special," In Sun'Tribe, everyone is the same. No traditions, no religion, no abilities, no culture, not even the way someone dresses themselves can be different. Dull, brown clothes, with hair cut down and pulled back in a simple manner. Difference is only for their Leader. The supreme ruler who never goes hungry, and lives in a large palace just for herself. It isn't until two lowly commoners take in the last of the outcasts, that their world sees a future of life again. ~*~ Written by the beas-TEAS, (old acc: Echo__IsNoFurry) @ROSE___555 and @Contrastgaze (@Echo_IsNoFurry is a broken acc) You don't have to read the other previous two books of this series to understand this book. "Forgotten Truths" is more of a backstory-based book, for the old tribes and some of the characters, which takes place a little over a decade before "Daffodils and Hyacinths", and the main details to understand this book are in "The Place where Dreams Fade," but if you're new, you should be caught up after reading 'TRIBES AND RULERS' and the Prologue. Updates might be a little irregular depending on our schedule We all hope you choose to give "Daffodils and Hyacinths" a go! (Might be a little gore; warnings on chapters that include it. Suitable for ages 8+)
