Grace has vowed to never let another man in her life again because of her dark and cryptic past she refuses to share with anyone, especially Daniel - the cocky, arrogant boy next door who keeps sticking his foot right in her business every time she tries to slam it shut. Grace's façade of stubbornness starts to chip pieces away, one by one as her walls start collapsing beneath her - the walls that she's worked so hard to protect. Daniel begins to experience unexplained feelings that perturb him - a strange desire and elation that he is unable to control. And it was all for Grace. But Daniel has to work for it. Scott, a long-time best friend and not to mention co-worker, starts to develop an awareness of attraction towards Grace - more and more every minute they spend together. These two boys desperately vie for Grace's attention - but being the ignorant girl she is who doesn't know anything about love- well, except the hopeless book romantic she is ( I mean, who could resist a classic Sharon Hamilton, right?) Grace begins to have mixed feelings. Whoever shall snatch her away?

(Book 2) *Contains spoilers below* "I needed more closure than what you gave me." I half lied. "It feels like an open wound someone keeps pouring salt on." His expression remained hard and cold. Almost distant. "I don't know what you want from me, Willow. You coming here isn't closing any wounds, it's just opening up old ones." I let out a sigh and rubbed my hands over my face. "I just needed to see you, okay? It's a relief to know you're even alive right now." I was begging myself not to cry. Noah shifted a little and folded his arms against his chest. "I don't know what you want me to say." "Anything is better than nothing." I said as I took a step closer. "I missed you. A lot." He peeked from under the mess of curls falling over his eyes. "You want me to tell you I missed you too? Is that what you're doing here?" I clenched my jaw shut and curled my fingers into fists at my sides. "I don't want anything from you." Scott isn't gone...yet. But he still refuses to let Noah go without harming anyone Noah cares about. It's been nine months since Scott took Noah under his wing and moved away from California. Willow hasn't seen either of them since the night Noah left with the promise to come back. When Willow finds Noah, she didn't expect what she finds. Noah's completely transformed into something she never thought she would see again. Besides the arrogant, obnoxious attitude, came countless tattoos, a ring through his lip, and a new name. With Scott still lingering and Noah's new found attitude, there's bound to be a little trouble. Way more than Willow bargained for. And maybe, just maybe, Scott isn't the real enemy.
