Marinette was working on her Ladybug Couture fashion line, minding her own buisness. That's when she heard a crash. "Woah! What just happened!?" She went to the source of the sound to find a Chat Noir in a downward facing 'cat' pose.
"Hello, Princess. Nice landing?" He laughed nervously at the chaos he caused. Marinette looked up to find a window broken. "Chat! What did you do again!?" She asked angrily. "Well, didn't you know there was an Akuma attack?" He asked shocked.
Marinette felt pure shock that she let herself be caught up so much in her thoughts that she missed an Akuma attack. "You need to go back up to your room. I don't want you to get hurt." Worry was etched in Chat's features.

She never shows this pain unless through her civilian self, and that was also at home, where she cries her eyes out every night. And every time her 3 best friends had asked her, "What's wrong?" she would always say "I'm fine!" Only to keep them safe. Adrien didn't believe her fake facade and looked past her plastic smile, so he decided to visit her one evening after his patrol as Chat Noir with Ladybug. What would happen when the breaking civilian meets the unexpected alleyway cat? Will she open her heart to him? And how long will her mask hold up? 2nd book, a dedicated fanfic to miraculous!!!!!! I don't take credits to the characters, just the story. And this is 6 months after season 3 (Marinette is still 15, and Adrien is 16). He woke up to Felix and Plagg looking at him in sorrow. He couldn't speak as he just grabbed his hair. He was nothing without his safe place but that place was locked away in her forgotten memories. ------------------------ Adrien Agreste only had a month left to graduation but he had lost one of the best things school gave him.
