Marinette was working on her Ladybug Couture fashion line, minding her own buisness. That's when she heard a crash. "Woah! What just happened!?" She went to the source of the sound to find a Chat Noir in a downward facing 'cat' pose.
"Hello, Princess. Nice landing?" He laughed nervously at the chaos he caused. Marinette looked up to find a window broken. "Chat! What did you do again!?" She asked angrily. "Well, didn't you know there was an Akuma attack?" He asked shocked.
Marinette felt pure shock that she let herself be caught up so much in her thoughts that she missed an Akuma attack. "You need to go back up to your room. I don't want you to get hurt." Worry was etched in Chat's features.

Chat Noir's identity has been revealed in the worst possible way imaginable - In front of a nation-wide broadcast crew while facing an Akuma. His life is shaken dramatically, nothing can be the same again, and there is only one source of stability for both Adrien Agreste and Chat Noir now. Meanwhile, Marinette has to come to terms that the person she's admired and her occasionally irritating but trustworthy partner, are one in the same, all while reeling from visits from a certain cat she's grown particularly fond of. (COMPLETED T_T)Marinette's mind is being put to the test, and as the akuma's powers are growing, since the combination of the butterfly and peacock miraculous, Marinette's life as Ladybug had been more and more stressful. She never shows this pain unless through her civilian self, and that was also at home, where she cries her eyes out every night. And every time her 3 best friends had asked her, "What's wrong?" she would always say "I'm fine!" Only to keep them safe. Adrien didn't believe her fake facade and looked past her plastic smile, so he decided to visit her one evening after his patrol as Chat Noir with Ladybug. What would happen when the breaking civilian meets the unexpected alleyway cat? Will she open her heart to him? And how long will her mask hold up? 2nd book, a dedicated fanfic to miraculous!!!!!! I don't take credits to the characters, just the story. And this is 6 months after season 3 (Marinette is still 15, and Adrien is 16). Chat Noir's one desire is to protect and assist his lady, even when it means putting his own life in jeopardy. Marinette's deepest fears come true when his ride or die sentiment leaves him cold at her feet. Ashamed and guilt-ridden, she turns her miraculous in to Master Fu and asks him to find someone else for the job, but something far more sinister is brewing, and with no LadyBug to come to the rescue, who will Paris, and more importantly, Chat Noir, turn to to save them in their time of need? Written over the course of only a few days, this is a short story that I don't plan on lengthening into a full length tale. I also don't plan on editing unless requested repeatedly.
