My name is Tyler Powell. I grew up on my family's farm, Little Edge. Life is slow, but enjoyable.
Until the undead rose. I woke up late at night to see half of my great grandmother's skeleton on our doorstep. Columns of smoke popping up everywhere. Chaos had broken loose.
I first looked for my family, but they had dissapeared. Now, I search for my friends. Can I make my way through this, or fail perpetually?

From this. I remember I just woke up one day, and went to work as usual. I drove my squad car around town on patrol, but I saw bodies. Bodies everywhere. They were dead bodies, but they weren't still on the ground. They were walking around. As if they had re-animated. I shook away the memories from the day it started all those weeks ago and focused on my running. It was almost sunrise and I figured I could stop soon. As soon as I knew I was safe. Jeremy said walking inside the house. "Thank the lord. Tell Anniston,Alivia,and Katie to pack their stuff too." I ordered. "Okay." Jeremy said. She's alive? Has she been alive this whole entire time? And I've been here...not searching for her. "Who is it?" I whispered to Katie as we hid behind a shelf in the back of the store. "I don't know." Katie said nervous. "Alivia....Katie....where are you? I know you're hiding." Someone said. Me and Katie just stared at each other. "Come out, come out, where ever you are." Someone said. We could here the person walking around. I'm pretty sure he's a man. Then all of the sudden we here this huge bang. "Come on! So your face!" We just sat there, knowing when he finds us he'll do something to us. Then he jumped out of no where right in front of us. "Stand up!" He yelled and we just sat there frozen in fear because all we brought with us was knives and he was pointing a gun at us. In the depths of this zombie apocalypse 17 year old Ryan has survived through it all where his family hasn't been as lucky. Scavenging all he can find, his world revolves around one basic, cruel fact - that any day could be his last. But then the impossible happens. Suddenly his world changes and all around him feelings and people he never knew existed slice through his heart like an icy razor. He sees things that he only ever heard in fairy tales or even the world before, things that he thought were impossible. Can he stay alive long enough to save his friends from the insanity of Boss?
